Clam Shell Box reproduced under license from the Canadian Museum of History. Made of a crushed black marble composite to simulate argillite, this box has an embedded pewter medallion to authenticate the museum reproduction. Available in small or large. Made in Canada.
Originally carved by the great Haida artist John Robson, stepfather of the legendary Charles Edenshaw. It is a fine example of the type of Victorian chest that the Haida specialized in during the latter part of the 18th century.
