Khewa is a well-recognized gallery-boutique featuring the artwork of Indigenous peoples throughout Canada and America. We support alliances between Indigenous artists and reputable Canadian partners.
Khewa is an award-winning destination nominated by major tourism associations in the National Capital Region. We take pride in offering our visitors a warm and inviting atmosphere to better understand, explore and support the diversity of Indigenous cultures.
For the past 20 years we remain faithful to our mission in promoting artwork from First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people within the cultural industry. We guarantee that none of our products are made overseas. This commitment has contributed to our reputation within our community and with our corporate gifting clientele.
In the Oji-Cree language Khewa means the “North Wind” that brings you home to your traditions. Our gallery-boutique is located in Wakefield, Quebec twenty minutes from Canada’s capital.
Khewa is the vision of Nathalie Coutou.
