About Khewa

Khewa is a well-recognized gallery-boutique featuring the artwork of Indigenous peoples throughout Canada and America. We support alliances between Indigenous artists and reputable Canadian partners.

Khewa is an award-winning destination nominated by major tourism associations in the National Capital Region. We take pride in offering our visitors a warm and inviting atmosphere to better understand, explore and support the diversity of Indigenous cultures.

Since 2000, we have proudly upheld our mission to promote the artwork of First Nations, Inuit, Métis and artists of mixed ancestry. Our unwavering commitment to ensuring that none of our products are made overseas has solidified our reputation within the community and among our corporate gifting clientele.

In the Oji-Cree language, Khewa means the “North Wind” that brings you home to your traditions. Our gallery-boutique is located in Wakefield, Quebec, twenty minutes from Canada’s capital.

Khewa is the vision of Nathalie Coutou.
