A licensed reproduction from the Canadian Museum of History of the argillite original platter made by an unidentified Haida artist. Made of crushed black marble to simulate argillite. The fish are made of abalone shell. The bottom of the piece has an embedded authenticating pewter medallion. Octopus design. Dimensions:  Oval 14.5". Made in Canada.
