Potlatch Raven Bowl

This bowl is a contemporary representation of the bowl and serving pieces used during the potlatches and feasts held by the native people of the Northwest Coast. The Raven brought light to the world through his abilities as a trickster and his power to transform. The Eagle is generally seen as a symbol of power of knowledge, prestige, friendship and peace. The Eagle is one of the two main Haida crests, the other being the Raven.
